Our enchanting Paisleigh Pendant is a celestial disc suspended from a delicate chain and crafted in 15 carat gold and silver. Her guilloche surface, adorned with intricate engravings, purple enamel and the beauty of satiny pearls reminds us of a distant past. She is a jewel of mystery and wonder, a precious talisman to carry the magic of the universe close to the heart. The back opens to hold a photograph.

The Guilloché Technique
Guilloché is a 1920s engraving technique noted for its precision and often stunning results, in which a pattern is created on an enamel layer set over a material such as gold or silver which is then subject to a firing process and finally polished to high lustre. This particular jewel, 26mm in diameter, has a sweet natural pearl in the centre, enhanced by the stunning purple and fine white border. The reverse side reveals even more gorgeous guilloché enamel and a locket section perfect for a photo of a loved one. 
 
The Paisleigh Pendant Gem Details
A light pinkish purple guilloche enameled round pendant holds a seed pearl in the centre, one suspended from the base and another at the apex of the double chain.

Size
The pendant has a diameter or approximately 29 millimetres, and the length of the chain is approximately 45 centimetres.

Vintage. Circa 1930s.
