A uniquely crafted one-of-a-kind jewel is crafted from a 14 carat gold, silver topped Victorian era brooch, circa 1837-1901, and transformed into this gorgeous necklet. She features five bright blue natural zircon gemstones, and embellished with synthetic white spinels between (synthetic spinel were commonly used in jewellery of this era in lieu of diamonds). The brooch pin has been removed and the ends are attached to a contemporary fine 9 carat gold chain. We have named this antique beauty The Sable Necklet, and she is a lovely adornment to rest gently next to the heart.
The Sable Necklet Gem Details
The five round bright vivid blue zircons each measure 5.00 to 5.25 millimetres. There are twenty four round synthetic spinels measuring 1.50 to 1.75 millimetres.
Size
The length of the necklet is approximately 70 millimetres. The length of the chain is approximately 50 centimetres, and can be shortened complimentary upon request.
